This Yuletide break is sure to fill you with plenty of festive spirit! We visit Skipton in Yorkshire, with an included visit to Harewood House, lovingly decorated for the festive season. Stroll through the wonderful, illuminated gardens of RHS Glow at RHS Harlow Carr, and embark on a fantastic return journey on the Keighley & Worth Valley Railway ‘Festive Flyer', arriving onto the gaslit platform of Oxenhope Station with its own Christmas market. You don't want to miss out!

Make your own way to our hotel, where you will meet our experienced Tour Manager. Enjoy a relaxing evening with dinner served in the hotel's restaurant.

Harewood Estate occupies a beautiful rural setting, with 100 acres of gardens, including the Lakeside Bird Gardens. During the festive season, visitors will experience beautifully decorated festive rooms, across the State Floor and below stairs.

We include a light lunch here with time to explore Harewood House and the lovely grounds before we make our way to RHS Glow.

Bring the festive season alive with a magical early evening visit, as amazing illuminations light your way on the spectacular Glow Trail of Harlow Carr. Explore after dark as the annual light festivities transform the garden into an enchanted wonderland. We return by coach to the hotel for dinner this evening.

Harewood House RHS Glow at Harlow Carr

Grassington is a small and cosy town in the beautiful Yorkshire Dales. With a quaint market square surrounded by shops and cafés, it is always worthy of a visit.

We then visit Haworth, a quaint little village that is the literary home of the Bronté sisters. After our visit, we head to Haworth station to board the Keighley & Worth Valley Railway, on the Festive Flyer.

The Festive Flyer departs from Haworth and steams towards ‘The North Pole’ of the Worth Valley, Oxenhope Station. Stepping off your steam-hauled express and onto the gaslit platform at Oxenhope Station, there will be plenty that will get you in the Christmas spirit. A magical winter wonderland awaits with plenty of photo opportunities, as well as a well-stocked licensed bar with hand-pulled real ale, draft lager, wines and spirits.

After spending time here, we re-board the train to return to Haworth station. Our coach returns us to the hotel for dinner this evening.
