The Zundert Flower Parade
The pretty town of Zundert plays host to the annual Zundert Flower Parade which attracts tens of thousands of visitors each year. Scores of volunteers help to create the most dazzling floral floats exclusively of dahlias, which follow the route of the Zundert Bloemencorso, or Flower Parade. We also include an excursion to The Hague and Delft where there will be free time for you to explore. If you’re fanatical about floral displays, then this is certainly the tour for you!

Local departure by coach, then to the Netherlands, where we stay for three nights.
The morning, we have an included visit to 'the largest village in Europe', The Hague. With its impressive skyline, The Hague is also one of Holland’s greenest cities, with many leafy lanes and pretty parks. You will have time at leisure here, to explore everything this city has to offer. This afternoon, we visit the charming town of Delft. With grand houses, arched bridges, courtyards and narrow alleys, Delft is traditionally Dutch in appearance.

Today is Parade Day, so don’t forget your camera! (Grandstand Ticket Included)
Spend the day in the pretty town of Zundert where you will enjoy the huge annual flower parade and absorb the spectacular carnival atmosphere.
See colourful floats, with hand-made creations sculpted from blooms of dahlias. The streets and local bars come alive with live music and street theatre.
The parade floats at the Zundert Flower Parade are designed and built by the twenty hamlets. Everything is done by volunteers, even the cultivation of the dahlias.
In order to prepare the floats for the big parade, hundreds of people join together. The art of building the Zundert Parade floats has been passed down from generation to generation.

The 4-star Fletcher Hotel Zevenbergen-Moerdijk enjoys a peaceful location, and is only a short walk away from the city centre of Zevenbergen.
