There’s something for everyone on this spectacular tour, centred around the St. Patrick's Day celebrations in Dublin. Medieval towns, natural beauty, parades and parties make for an Irish experience you’ll never forget. We begin our tour in Ireland’s oldest city, Waterford, where we spend time taking in the city’s charming medieval character. We then travel to Dublin and enjoy a day celebrating St. Patrick's Day. After a full day of partying, enjoy a relaxing day, either at your hotel or on our optional excursion to Kilkenny. Our tour comes to an end with a visit to the wonderful Wicklow Mountains and the two lakes of Glendalough.

Included excursion to Waterford, the oldest city in Ireland, first visited by the Vikings in 852AD. The walled city has retained much of its medieval character, together with the graceful buildings from its 18th century expansion – Reginald's Tower is the most historic urban medieval monument in Ireland.
The elegant Chamber of Commerce building, the City Hall and the Bishop's Palace are prime examples of beautiful 18th century architecture and the parameters of the 10th century settlement can be clearly identified in The Viking Triangle.

An amazing trip over too quick. Seven Oaks hotel was very nice, good staff, set food menu but all was perfect for the three courses we had each day, breakfast choice was great and couldn't fault anything, room was perfect. Staying in Carlow was again brilliant, some good bars and places to go. The trip going to Waterford, Wicklow Mountains (Jonnie Foxes Pub!),and the best Dublin for St.Patrick's day which again added to the whole trip experience. Our driver Nigel and his wife Liz were above and beyond for everything, knew the areas well and they just made the holiday extra special, a credit to Leger holidays! We will defo use Leger for another trip and we probably book this same trip again.
