Rooms very basic, no tea or coffee available in room. The food I wouldn't recommend, no choice set thing every night, some of the staff friendly others gave the impression we weren't welcome.

I was under the impression that it was going to be a door to door service, which is what I wanted. I was sad when I was told I was out of the catchment area and I would have to join the coach at Carmarthen. As I was on a singles holiday I thought I was eligible to be picked up for a little extra. Anyway, I had to ask a friend to take me down on the Sunday and book in the hotel by the stop as I was asked to be at the stop for 03.20. It was scary being on my own at that time of the morning. As we left so early in the morning, I was expecting to be told that we would be stopping for breakfast, but comfort stops don’t seem to be on a priority list. I feel that we should have been made aware of very early starts each day and was disappointed that we didn’t see the area of our hotel, only if we refused to go to Venice and Verona. The drivers were ok, but not over helpful and we did feel we had to look after each other. I’m sure they were very tired from all the driving and serving drinks. Even your bigger seats were not big enough for some of the huge people on board. It made it very uncomfortable for a couple of people. The hotels were clean and a decent standard, being a vegetarian, food was not good. A scoop of mozzarella cheese surrounded by tomatoes for my main meal didn’t look appealing. And not for just one night either. It was a long exhausting journey back, and when we dropped the first people off, we had to wait 30 mins for their taxi to arrive, the next ones also had to wait, this time approx 1 hour. This made me so anxious because I didn’t know what time I would get home. My friend had 1.5/2 hour drive to Carmarthen. The coach driver and other passengers tried to help me. We agreed to no comfort stops and hope we could make the time up. Which we did. It’s very dark and lonely late at night in Carmarthen and the coach driver did stay with me until I was reunited with my friend. I got home to Cardigan after midnight. I do think you should be a bit more thoughtful towards older single people. A number of people were waiting to hear about my trip as they thought it would suit them but after hearing about the length of time (18 hours) they decided not to book. A little more thought on your part and you probably would be filling your coaches just from my area on a regular basis. Really it is for big towns and cities that you are aiming to take away and I feel you should make this a bit clearer. If I had been made aware, I probably would have stayed with my daughter in Oxford and joined from there. Thank you for the trip.

Coach drivers really made this holiday great Be prepared for a walk if staying at Hotel Centro as coach can't park near hotel. Main hotel good rooms great buffet breakfast including hot options but oh dear sadly let down by dinner choices extremely limited not what i would expect at all! Good day trips out to Venice and Verona
