Today, we enjoy a tour of The Borders Distillery. Proudly occupying a beautifully renovated Victorian-era factory, it is the first whisky distillery in the Scottish Borders since 1837. Situated in the idyllic town of Hawick, you will learn about the meticulous whisky-making process. Discover the art behind distilling Single Malt Scotch Whisky, Kerr’s Gin, and Puffing Billy Steam Vodka, all using local barley. Our journey will cover areas dedicated to mashing, fermentation, and distillation. And naturally, no distillery visit is complete without tasting! We'll wrap up our tour with a sampling session in the distillery bar.
We return to the hotel in the afternoon. If you wish, you can spend this free time enjoying the hotel facilities! A refreshing swim, a spa session treatment (extra charges may apply, please pay locally), or a leisurely stroll in the picturesque grounds – the choice is yours.

Today, we journey to an architectural marvel of Scotland – Rosslyn Chapel, established in the 15th-century by William Sinclair, 1st Earl of Caithness. Described as 'a treasure in stone', the chapel is adorned with over 100 green men and a wealth of symbolic sculptures. The mystery surrounding the chapel inspired the best-selling novel 'The Da Vinci Code,' which hints at its ties to the legendary Holy Grail.
We then visit the charming border town of Peebles, nestled along the River Tweed. Here, you'll enjoy free time, allowing you to wander alongside the serene river or soaking in the town's beauty.
