Enjoy a scenic drive into Snowdonia National Park, a unique area of outstanding natural beauty, for the chance to take in the scenery, calling at the quaint village of Betws-y-Coed. We return towards the coast for time at leisure in the traditional Victorian resort of Llandudno, which retains much of its 19th-century grandeur. With pier, promenade, and spectacular sweeping views across the bay, and with the majestic Great Orme mountain as a backdrop, Llandudno combines everything you want from a seaside town with the rugged beauty and nature that north Wales is famous for.

Today we journey north along County Antrim’s coastal road and take in the stunning scenery. We visit the Giant’s Causeway, one of Ireland’s top tourist attractions. Made of 40,000 massive black basalt columns, this dramatic sight has inspired legends of giants striding over the sea to Scotland. Myths and legends aside, the truth of this UNESCO World Heritage Site is undisputedly a spectacular sight.

Later, we travel to Hillsborough Castle, for an optional visit to the stunning gardens. Admire the meandering waterways, peaceful woodland and picturesque glens.
