Visiting picturesque destinations such as Portland, Oregon, shadowed by Mt. Hood on the horizon, the simply stunning Coos Bay, surrounded by lush emerald forests, reaching into the ocean, and a stop at the breathtakingly gorgeous Redwood National park, you really will see the very best of this famous coastline. Your tour will come to an end in the marvellous city of San Francisco, famous for the Golden Gate Bridge where you can watch the fog roll in over the world-famous landmark, a serene vista to complete an iconic tour.

Set on the waterfront and framed by snow-capped mountains, Seattle is a sophisticated city that offers visitors a real sampling of Northwest life.
The Downtown Seattle Waterfront is a great place to take in the views of Elliott Bay and the Olympic Mountains, and no visit would be complete without strolling through the grounds at the Seattle Centre and checking out the spectacular view from the Space Needle's 520-foot high observation deck.
En route, visit Mount Rainier National Park and Mount St. Helens, both active volcanoes and part of the Northwest's 'Ring of Fire'.
Ascending to 14,410 feet above sea level and often shrouded in clouds, Mount Rainier is the most glaciated peak in the contiguous U.S. and stands as an icon in the Washington landscape.
Travel south through Newport and the heart of the central coast to Oregon Dunes National Recreation Area.
Extending for over 40 miles, Oregon Dunes features wind-sculpted sand dunes that tower up to 500 feet above sea level.
We continue on to Coos Bay for an overnight stay. Historically a shipbuilding hub, today Coos Bay is the largest city on the Oregon coast.
Nearly half of the remaining old growth redwoods can be found in Redwood National Park, including giants five stories taller than the Statue of Liberty. We travel on to Eureka for an overnight stay.
Home to perfect grape-growing conditions, dazzling displays of colour as the seasons change and a Mediterranean climate, this region is host to some of the most famous wineries in the world.
Sonoma County was established from humble beginnings, when Russian colonists planted grapes on the pacific coast of Sonoma in 1812, with innovative vintners making history with the region now being host to over 400 award-winning wineries. The area has 17 American Viticultural Areas (AVA’s) and more than 60 types of grapes growing within them. We will stay in the area for one night.The city’s Victorian rooflines, wind-sculpted tree tips and the rolling fog, tumbling over some of the most iconic landmarks in the USA, San Francisco is a true marvel, waiting to be explored.

You will spend 2 nights at the Century Plaza Vancouver before moving on to Seattle for a one-night stay at the Coast Bellevue Hotel. For the remainder of your tour, you will have overnight stays at the Jupiter Hotel, Portland, Red Lion Coos Bay, Red Lion Eureka, Dry Creek Inn, Sonoma and the Hotel Carlton in San Francisco.
All hotels are of European minimum 3-star standard and have
a restaurant or bar on site or nearby.
