Fly to Cork, where you’ll be met and transferred to your hotel in Rosscarbery for three nights.

Includes Dinner

Today you have a chance to join our optional excursion to Blarney, where you can explore the village, or visit the castle, which incorporates the famous ‘Blarney Stone’ (entrance extra). Tradition has it that kissing the stone will bestow upon the kisser the art of flattery and successful lying! Next stop is Cork, Ireland’s third city. With its long maritime connection, like Venice, Cork is built on the water, with the city centre blossoming from an island on the River Lee. You will find myriad bridges and quays adding to the romance and personality of this picturesque city.

This beautiful corner of Ireland has provided the backdrop to so many films, including ‘Ryan’s Daughter’ and ‘Far and Away’. Each turn provides a spectacular view of long, sandy beaches, steep cliffs and hidden bays. The peninsula is dominated by the range of mountains that form its spine, running from the Slieve Mish to Mount Brandon, Ireland’s second-highest peak.
