Today we travel from Cesky Krumlov to Prague. En route we stop at the well-known town of Cesky Budejovice, better known as Budweis – the city of beer. The tradition of brewing beer stretches back into the distant past, when the Celts inhabited Central Europe, and the brewing of beer in Cesky Budejovice dates back to 1265. The original version of the beer Budweiser comes from the town. We continue to Tabor. Thanks to its rich history, architectural monuments and tranquil location, Tabor is one of the Czech Republic’s favourite tourist spots. Continue to Prague and our hotel for two nights.
