Make your own way to our hotel in the Sheffield area, where you will be staying for the night.
We head to Derwent Dam in the Peak District, where the Dambusters operated training flights because of its resemblance to the German dams, before travelling to Lincoln to visit the International Bomber Command Memorial overlooking the city. We continue to our hotel in the Cambridge area.

Today, we see the grave of Dambusters’ leader Guy Gibson VC, killed in a crash in a Mosquito in 1944, and more Dambusters’ graves at Bergen op Zoom, before continuing to our hotel in the Dortmund/Wuppertal area of Germany for two nights. As today is the 80th Anniversary of the Raid, after dinner this evening we visit the Möhne Dam at the time the attack took place in 1943, returning to our hotel late this evening.
