Local departure by coach, then to Normandy for a four-night stay.

Today we visit some of the British D-Day locations: as there will be a high level of security in Normandy at this time, exact details are not possible at this stage but it will include places connected with the D-Day Airborne story and the British and Commonwealth beaches.

Today is the 80th Anniversary of the D-Day Landings. No details of ceremonies have been released yet, but we will attend the main British ceremony which will either take place at Bayeux War Cemetery or the British Normandy Memorial. We will also aim to visit some additional D-Day locations depending on the local security arrangements on this day.
