Regional departure by coach or Door-to-Door service, then to Portsmouth for the overnight crossing to Santander. Accommodation is in two-berth, inside cabins with en suite facilities. The crossing takes 24 hours during which you can enjoy the facilities on board.
Evening arrival in Santander, then travel to our overnight hotel in the Burgos area.

We spend the morning in Burgos, situated on the Pilgrim’s Road to Santiago de Compostela. The city’s cathedral is a masterpiece of Spanish Gothic architecture. Early afternoon we head to our hotel in Cuenca for one night.

Enjoy a morning at leisure exploring Cuenca. The historic centre overlooks the rocky canyon walls where buildings called the Casas Colgades (Hanging Houses) seemingly cling to the rock walls. After lunch we head to the resort of Los Alcazares on the Costa Blanca for a six-night stay.

Join our full-day, included excursion to Alicante, a city with a true Spanish flavour, proudly overlooking the Mediterranean. See the impressive castle of Santa Barbara which stands in a stunning location above the city and stroll along the Esplanade de España, a palm-lined promenade along the waterfront.

Enjoy our included excursion, which take us first to Albir with its broad, tree-lined boulevards, cafés and a superb beach, then to Altea with its medieval cobbled streets, pretty old quarter and palm-lined esplanade. Later, we head to the 8th century Moorish village of Guadalest. Following winding roads, lined with the citrus groves, we reach this village overlooking the Guadalest reservoir. Explore the old quarter which is only accessible by foot. Pass through the rock tunnel and admire the spectacular views over the lake from the belltower which clings to the rock face.

We head north to Valencia, arriving late morning. This cosmopolitan city offers a vibrant atmosphere and is rightly regarded as one of the most beautiful cities of Mediterranean Spain. See the contrasts of the historic Old Town and the picturesque harbour and marina. We stay in Valencia overnight.

You will stay for six nights at the 4-star Hotel Costa Narejos in Los Alcazares. The hotel is situated only 200 metres from the sandy Mar Menor beach, and offers an outdoor swimming pool and Jacuzzi. The buffet restaurant offers an extensive choice and you can relax with your favourite drink.
Overnight stays in Spain and the Paris area will be in minimum 3-star hotels.
On the overnight ferry sailing, accommodation will be in two-berth en suite inside cabins.
