Local departure by coach or Door-to-Door service, then to northern France or Belgium for an overnight stay.
Continue into Northern Italy to reach to our overnight hotel in the Milan area.

Today we have an included excursion to Milan with a guided city tour also included. We explore the principle locations with our expert guide who will introduce you to the Sforza Caste, the marvellous Gothic-style cathedral and the La Scala opera house. The city exudes festive ambiance at this time of the year - enjoy some free time at leisure to explore the main square or to pick up some last minute gifts in the array of boutiques. Later today, we travel onwards to our hotel for a 5 night stay.

Why not join us on an optional tour of the Dolomites? You will have the opportunity to witness some of the breathtaking scenery of these striking mountains as we journey northwards to Belluno and onwards to the extremely chic ski resort of Cortina D'Ampezzo to experience a festive winter wonderland! This evening we enjoy a 4 course dinner including aperitif.

Sure to be one of the main highlights of our stay! Today we visit the 'Floating city' of Venice. A visit to Piazza San Marco is a must, where you can absorb the atmosphere and relax at one of the many pavement cafes! Perhaps opt to take a ride on a gondola (at own cost). Explore the abundance of narrow alleyways leading across the city to the remarkable Rialto bridge.

Join our included excursion to visit two hidden gems in of this region. Bassano del Grappa is the first location, known for its wooden, 13th-century Ponte Vecchio bridge spanning the River Brenta, and for being one of the most picturesque cities in the north of Italy! We continue onwards to the wonderful Villa Sandi - a Palladian-style masterpiece dating back to 1622. After a full tour, we enjoy tasting a couple of the famous local wines!

We depart our hotel and journey westwards to the city of Padua. Known as Padova in Italian, Padua is commonly thought to be the oldest city in northern Italy. It certainly has history, including its famous university, the 13th-century Basilica di Sant'Antonio (resting place of St. Anthony), and Scrovegni Chapel, with Giotto’s famed 14th century frescos. We enjoy some free-time at leisure to explore. Our journey continues to our overnight hotel in the Cremona/Parma area.
