Christmas in Austria & Twixmas Cruising on the Rhine
Join us for a real festive extravaganza as we spend Christmas in Austria and Twixmas cruising through Germany on the mighty River Rhine. Spend Christmas Eve taking in the magical markets of Innsbruck the capital of the Tyrol, before visiting the glass-blowing centre of Rattenberg and enjoy Christmas day in the picturesque ski resort of Kitzbühel. On Boxing Day this delightful holiday by coach takes us to Mayrhofen where you can ride the Ziller Valley Railway and pass through some spectacular scenery. Then, as Twixmas sets in we head over to Andernach to board the MS Rhine Princess and embark on a relaxing river cruise.

We head to Andernach, Germany, to join the MS Rhine Princess, for a two-night cruise.

We cruise from Andernach to Oberwesel, then after lunch, travel by coach to Rüdesheim with its cosy wine taverns and narrow, romantic streets. We then continue by coach to Koblenz, and rejoin our cruise ship

We cruise to Cologne, a joy to visit with its shops, restaurants and cosy bars of the Old Town. Later this afternoon, we head to our overnight hotel in Belgium.

You will stay for four nights at a minimum 3-star hotel in the Austrian Tyrol, such as the Hotel Zillertal in Strass. The hotel has a restaurant and bar.
You will spend two nights cruising on board the MS Rhine Princess. Cabins are located on three decks and all have twin beds and air-conditioning.
Overnight stays in Belgium will be in a city-style hotel.
