Regional departure by coach, then onward to Belgium or northern France for a three-night stay.
We spend two days visiting sites connected with the Battle of Loos including the Hohenzollern Redoubt, the Lone Tree and Le Rutoire Farm, as well as examining the stories of men who fought at Loos, such as the Queen Mother's brother, Jack Kipling and the 'Footballers of Loos' from the London Irish who kicked a football into battle.
