Regional departure by coach or Door-to-Door service, then to Holyhead for the ferry to Ireland, and onward to the Galway area for a two-night stay.

Includes Dinner

An early start, as we head out for a morning boat ride (weather permitting) to view the world-famous Cliffs of Moher. Towering over the rugged West Clare coast, the cliffs here are almost entirely vertical, with abrupt cliff edges. You can just hear the booming of the waves below, and on a clear day the views are tremendous.

We continue on to visit the Aran Islands. This trio of cultural and historical islands represent the best of Ireland's rugged west - the last lands before you reach America.

We spend a short time in Galway this morning. Galway is home to a host of fascinating buildings and architectural delights, including the Cathedral, St Nicholas' Church and the quaint streets of the Latin Quarter.

We then head to the charming market town of Westport, where we visit Westport House. One of the few remaining privately-owned historic houses in Ireland, the family lineage of the house dates back to the trail-blazing pirate queen and chieftain, Grace O'Malley.

In the afternoon, we continue around Clew Bay to visit picturesque Achill Island before contining to our hotel in County Mayo for two nights.

During the day, we'll call at mighty Downpatrick Head, known for its associations with St. Patrick and as a World War II lookout post, as well as the unique, cavernous blowhole that during stormy days forces seawater to through the ground making an exciting natural spectacle.

Not enough time in Galway or West Port Too much crammed in one day Next day we visited Down Patrick Head in the morning with rest of the day free time Would have preferred more time in Galway to visit the Cathedral With only 1hr 15mins and 30mins walk each way from the bus stop we only got to see the outside.
