Your Luxuria
Signature Paradors:
You will stay for three nights at the Parador de Sos del Rey
Católico, set in the foothills of the Pyrenees near Zaragoza, before moving on to
the beautiful Parador de Vic-Sau for four nights. Overnight stays in France will be in city-style hotels.
Parador de Sos del
Rey Católico – This magnificent Parador is a former stately home set in the
perfectly preserved 10th century medieval town of Sos del Rey
Católico. Part of the Cinco Villas or “Five High Towns”, Sos del Rey Católico
was the birthplace of King Ferdinand II of Aragon (the “Catholic King”). The
Parador skilfully combines nods to its medieval past such as a coat of arms in
the communal area and elegant Castilian-style furniture, with more contemporary
features. Breathtaking views abound over the Aragonese landscape of foothills,
mountains and valleys and the outdoor terrace provides an exceptional spot from
which to enjoy the scenery.
Parador de Vic-Sau – Built in the traditional style of a stone mansion, the four-star Parador de Vic-Sau is set in a building which was once an old Catalan farmhouse. Located 14km from the charming town of Vic, it boasts superb views of the Guillerias Mountains and Sau reservoir – a natural paradise. The interiors are bright and elegant, with large, arched windows offering plenty of natural light, and a striking stained-glass ceiling in the main vestibule. Guests can get comfortable in the spacious bedrooms which are comfortably furnished with neutral colours, whilst the charming restaurant offers tempting dining options, specialising in typical Catalan cooking and regional favourites. Outside, the Parador truly makes the most of its stunning setting, surrounding itself with well-tended gardens and a magnificent outdoor (seasonal) swimming pool with panoramic views of the valley below.
Stylish and modern, state-of-the-art Luxuria is the business class of coaches. Boasting comfort of the highest standard, sink into the deluxe armchair-style seats, stretch out with much more space around you, and enjoy a vast choice of entertainment on your personal touch-screen TV.
