From your local joining point, travel to Dover or Folkestone for your Channel crossing. Continue to Brussels for a two night stay. Perhaps spend this evening exploring the delights of the city’s Christmas Markets with the Grand Place decorated in festive lights for the occasion.

In a quarter of a century, the Village de Noel de Liege (Christmas Village) has grown to be one of the largest and longest in Belgium - running for four weeks over the festive period. Set in Place St Lambert and Place du Marche, the numerous wooden chalets sell a wide variety of wares including Christmas village ornaments, gastronomic delights, local handicrafts and regional souvenirs. At Place de la Cathedrale in the heart of Liege's huge pedestrian zone, skaters will be surrounded by even more shopping, eating and drinking outlets. Proclaimed the Latin capital of Christmas festivities, the Liege Christmas Village has a subtle difference in atmosphere to its Germanic and Alsatian neighbours.

Leave your hotel and travel back to Calais for your Channel crossing and then continue to your original joining point.
