Local departure by coach and make our way to our overnight hotel in Belgium.
We depart our hotel this morning and drive to Namur, where we spend the morning exploring the town and its festive Christmas Market. We continue to Dinant, a charming town perched on the banks of the River Meuse between the river and the imposing cliff face. Dominated by its mighty citadel, enjoy time to discover the delights of this picture-postcard town before continuing to Bouillon and the 4-star Hotel de la Poste.

Crossing the border into Luxembourg, we visit the capital city sharing the country’s name. Span across the deep gorges of the Alzette and Petrusse rivers, it is a picturesque city with a beautiful Old Town full of narrow streets and quaint alleyways. The Christmas Market and Winterlights Festival transform the city into a Winter Wonderland.

After a leisurely breakfast, we drive to the riverside town of La Roche en Ardenne, where we will have time to stroll around the picturesque streets.
We will continue to the beautiful town of Durbuy, which is renowned as the ‘smallest city in the world’. Despite its size, there are plenty of independent shops and cafés lining the quaint, narrow streets. Be sure to soak up the magic of the Christmas market here, with its cosy stalls brimming with handcrafted gifts and tasty local delicacies, before we return to the hotel.

You will stay for four nights at the 4-star Hotel de la Poste in the picturesque riverside town of Bouillon.
Overnight stays in Belgium will be in a city-style hotel.
De La Poste
The Hotel de la Poste is situated in the centre of Bouillon, close to the banks of the River Semois and only a short walk from the 12th century castle. The hotel was originally founded around the year 1730 as the modest hotel 'Grand Cerf'. In 1828 it changed its name into 'Grand Saint-Hubert' and in the 18th and 19th century it became 'Hotel de la Poste' due to people who stayed overnight when they travelled on the postal route between England, Switzerland, the Netherlands and Paris. The hotel retains many of its original features, but combines them with modern facilities and comfort. The hotel has a restaurant, lounge, lift and bistro/bar, the ideal place to unwind after a day of sightseeing.
